EVO-PTCL

EVO
PTCL (PAKISTAN TELECOMMUNICATION PVT LIMITED ) Introduced wirless Internet Facility after the old style internal dial up Modem, but it didnot produced the actual result as was expecting and after this PTCL introuduced DSL that worked and working fine but due to wired problem it caused a lot of problem but now PTCL has introduced the facility of EVO that works just like moble sim signal in different areas of the world and now it is working best

wireless commmunication

Wireless communication

is the transfer of information between two or more points that are not connected by an electrical conductor.
The most common wireless technologies use electromagnetic wireless telecommunications, such as radio. With radio waves distances can be short, such as a few metres for televisionremote control, or as far as thousands or even millions of kilometres for deep-space radio communications. It encompasses various types of fixed, mobile, and portable applications, including two-way radios, cellular telephones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), andwireless networking. Other examples of applications of radio wireless technology includeGPS units, garage door openers, wireless computer mice, keyboards and headsets, headphones, radio receivers, satellite television, broadcast television and cordless telephones.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION MEDIA

Wireless Service

Wireless operations permit services, such as long-range communications, that are impossible or impractical to implement with the use of wires. The term is commonly used in the telecommunications industry to refer to telecommunications systems (e.g. radio transmitters and receivers, remote controls etc.) which use some form of energy (e.g. radio waves, acoustic energy, etc.) to transfer information without the use of wires.[1] Information is transferred in this manner over both short and long distances.
It has very important role in establishing a well functioned networking environment for success

COMMUNICATION MEDIA-OPTICAL FIBRE CABLE

OPTICAL FIBRE

An  is a glass fiber. It uses pulses of light to transmit data. Some advantages of optical fibers over metal wires are less transmission loss, immunity from electromagnetic radiation, and very fast transmission speed, up to trillions of bits per second. One can use different colors of lights to increase the number of messages being sent over a fiber optic cable. It is very much fast and accurate working cable used widely in the computer networking enviroment.

COMMUNICATION MEDIA-COAXIAL CABLE

COAXIAL CABLE
ITis widely used for cable television systems, office buildings, and other work-sites for local area networks. The cables consist of copper or aluminum wire surrounded by an insulating layer (typically a flexible material with a high dielectric constant), which itself is surrounded by a conductive layer. The insulation helps minimize interference and distortion. Transmission speed ranges from 200 million bits per second to more than 500 million bits per second. It is very successful and very much useful wired communication media for the proper and nice performance of a computer network,
ITU-T G.hn technology uses existing home wiring (coaxial cable, phone lines and power lines) to create a high-speed of up to 1Gigabits /s
